Description
Fortunato was the first yacht built out of nine Southern Wind 72 series. Donation boat. Will look at other trades: Boats/Rv's or ?? MAKE OFFER!
Because of their renowned build quality and Bruce Farr’s exceptional design, the Southern Wind 72 is equally at home crossing oceans—effortlessly clicking off 200‑mile days—as she is competing in long‑distance racing. These yachts are celebrated for their strength, balance, and performance, and FORTUNATO is an excellent example of the pedigree.
FORTUNATO features sleek hull and deck lines, a secure center cockpit, wide side decks, and generous fore and aft deck spaces that make movement around the boat safe and comfortable. Most running rigging leads aft to the cockpit, allowing for efficient and confident short‑handed sailing.
Below deck, FORTUNATO’s interior is finished in warm, honey‑colored varnished teak, creating a timeless and inviting atmosphere. The layout includes a spacious master cabin aft, two well‑appointed guest cabins forward, and dedicated crew quarters with their own head—ideal for extended cruising or professional crewed operation.
Over the years, FORTUNATO has benefited from numerous upgrades, including several recent improvements that keep her modern, reliable, and ready to sail anywhere in the world.
